Main bus stops in Berlin

There are a total of 7 long-distance bus stops in the German capital.

Central Bus Station (ZOB) Berlin

Address: Masurenallee 4-6, 14057 Berlin, Germany.

One of the most important and largest bus stations is the Central Bus Station (ZOB). One of the main bus companies that operates out of ZOB is Flixbus. Other international bus companies also travel to and from the ZOB.

The bus station is only 400 meters from the Kaiserdamm subway station and the Messe Nord/ICC S-Bahn station. There are several options for getting there:

  • The U2 subway line
  • The S-Bahn Ringbahn lines S41, S42 and S46
  • BVG bus lines M49, 139 and 218

Berlin Ostbahnhof bus station

Address: Koppenstrasse 3, 10243 Berlin, Germany

The Berlin Ostbahnhof long-distance railway station is mainly used by the Berlin LinienBus long-distance bus company, but other bus companies also stop here.

You can reach the bus station by public transportation with :

  • S-Bahn lines S5, S7 and S75.
  • Bus lines 140, 142 and 300

Bahnhof Südkreuz bus station

The third most important long-distance bus station in Berlin is the Bahnhof Südkreuz. Buses from Flixbus and Berlin LinienBus, among others, stop here.

The Bahnhof Südkreuz bus station is directly connected to the Südkreuz train station, where long-distance and regional trains are also available. To get there by public transport, you have the following options:

  • S-Bahn lines S2, S25, S41, S42, S45 and S46
  • BVG bus lines M46, 106 and 204

Stop Alexanderplatz

Address: Alexanderstrasse 3-5, 10178 Berlin, Germany.

Flixbus buses mainly depart from this long-distance bus stop located in the heart of Berlin.

This advantageous location means that the train station is easily accessible by many types of public transportation:

  • U2, U5 and U8 subway lines
  • BVG bus lines 100, 200, 245, 248, 300, N2, N5, N8, N40, N42, N60 and N65
  • Streetcar lines M1, M2, M4, M5 and M65

Bus stop Zoologischer Garten (Zoo)

The Zoologischer Garten bus stop is located at the east exit of the train station. It is mainly served by buses chartered by Flixbus.

You can reach the Zoologischer Garten station with several buses and trains:

  • U9 and U12 subway lines
  • S-Bahn lines S3 and S5
  • BVG bus lines 245, M45, X10, 200, M46, M49, 249, X34 and 204

Subway station Alt-Tegel

The bus stop is right next to the Alt-Tegel subway station. The subway station can be reached by S-Bahn and U-Bahn as well as by BVG bus:
